Introduction:

I received my Master of Counseling degree from Wayne State University in 2021. My concentration was on Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Counseling, and Rehabilitation Counseling. I completed my internship for my Clinical Mental Health counseling concentration and school counseling at Powers Catholic High School where I conducted sessions with students and families with academic aspects. I completed my rehabilitation internship at John D. Dingell VA Medical Center where I focused on assisted veterans obtain job placement after discharging from active service. I have worked as a school counselor at the elementary and middle school level while also working in the private practice setting since graduation.

Approach:

My approach is client-centered and focuses on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques. Each treatment is focused around the client and their individual needs. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has been shown to be very effective in treating a wide range of mental health issues including depression and anxiety.
