Is therapy right for me?

Throughout any stage of life, caring for your mental health is important. Just as you would see a cardiologist for a heart issue, a therapist can provide guidance for your mental health. You don’t need to consider your mental health challenges “serious” to seek out a therapist. Some people pursue therapy to help manage a diagnosed mental illness, while others visit a therapist simply to have someone listen and provide guidance and support in a judgment-free setting.

Do I need medication?

Psychiatric medication can be a helpful tool for managing symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and other mental health conditions. While not everyone needs medication, it can support your overall treatment plan when symptoms interfere with your daily life or progress in therapy. Our psychiatric providers work closely with you to understand your needs, discuss your options, and develop a personalized approach. If you’re unsure, we’re here to guide you through the decision-making process with care and clarity.
