Wayne State University | Clinical Mental Health Counseling

Introduction:

I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wayne State University. While pursuing my degree, I worked as a registered behavioral technician (RBT) with children with autism, deepening my understanding of neurodiversity and child development. My professional journey includes working with LGBTQ+ communities, BIPOC individuals, and children of immigrants. I am committed to creating a space where my clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to explore their mental health and identity.

Approach:

My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, inclusivity, and collaboration. I believe in meeting clients where they are and providing a space for them to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and client-centered therapy into my practice. Drawing from my bi-cultural background and lived experiences, I tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs, always with a focus on cultural sensitivity and empowerment. Whether you’re exploring issues related to identity, navigating life’s transitions, or working through trauma, I work alongside you to uncover insights, foster healing, and encourage personal growth. My goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself and the world around you.
