Therapy length varies depending on the specific patient’s circumstances. Some patients benefit from short-term therapy, while others engage in longer-term care.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally drained, or struggling with thoughts or behaviors that impact your daily life, individual therapy is a great place to start the healing journey. You don’t need to wait for crisis to benefit from therapy.
Our therapists recommend beginning with weekly sessions, however it is ultimately at the patient’s discretion. Over time, sessions may become less frequent (bi-weekly or monthly) if goals are being met and coping skills strengthen.
